🔍 What is LCD Screen Grading?

LCD grading is the process of evaluating a screen’s condition to determine its value. At LCD Buyer, we assess each screen and categorize it into one of the following grades:

  • Good LCD – Fully functional, no display issues, no burn marks, and no major scratches.

  • ⚠️ Repair Needed – Working screen with minor issues such as low brightness, color distortion, or shadowing.

  • Cracked LCD – Screen has cracks, broken glass, or touch issues, but the display still works.

We aim to make the process as simple as possible. For more information about how we evaluate each item, check out our Grading Guidelines.

Good LCD – The glass can be broken as long as the LCD and digitiser itself are fully functioning.

Bad LCD – No display or any lines, spots, discolouration or pink halo effects on the screen.

Scrap LCD – If any of the connectors are broken or there is a significant amount of the shell missing.

Please note: We expect the glass of the LCD to be cracked.
